About Me

Hi There!
My name is Dayanara America Penalosa. I am a results-oriented and driven professional with a unique blend of STEM expertise and commercial strategy, currently pursuing a Master of Science in Marketing at the University of Arizona. My foundational background in Public Health, which I completed in an accelerated three-year timeline, and hands-on experience in both a clinical setting and a research laboratory give me a deep understanding of patient needs and the technical complexities of healthcare. This dual perspective is crucial for identifying key customer insights and developing impactful, data-driven strategies.
My professional experience includes an internship with the Binational Early Asthma & Microbiome Study, where I processed and transferred lab samples and contributed to binational meetings with well-informed insights. Additionally, as a Student Outreach Intern for Conversations to Remember, I conducted targeted outreach by analyzing demographic data and effectively communicating the organization's mission to students and seniors.
Beyond my professional and academic pursuits, I am committed to a well-rounded and balanced life. I enjoy giving back to my community through various volunteering initiatives and am an active member of my sorority, Delta Gamma, where I am dedicated to upholding its values. My personal interests also include practicing hot yoga, which helps me stay centered and focused, and discovering new music, which fuels my creativity and provides a fresh perspective.
